DESCRIPTION

"Dreams at first seem impossible, then seem improbable, and finally, when we commit ourselves, become inevitable." Mahatma Gandhi

Through painting, I am finding the expressive mechanisms to understand somehow my place in the world. It is a task that, although it may seem playful, translates into a sincere dialogue between my deepest essence and the canvas, which returns to me a dreamlike image of the future. Feelings, thoughts and desires are seen projected on the fabric, with the complicity of the pictorial technique with which I feel very comfortable: acrylic with spatula.

The textures obtained through the material load and the rapid spatulas offer me ideal pictorial possibilities to express certain moods and encounters intimate with myself. I seek to create a specific atmosphere, fleeing from softness licking the brush, accepting the force of the spontaneous line and the introspective color, almost magical, of constant transformation. The formal elements give shape to a self-portrait that represents the spirit dreamer that accompanies a precise period of my life.

The dream, a self-portrait that projects various feelings; like passion and desire. Representation of a dreaming spirit, in which thoughts and plans for the future are reflected. Opening a trunk of stars, observing them from close up, the stars are my fears, letting them out and away.
