proyecta en muchas de sus im\u00e1genes un gesto autorreferencial en cierto modo auto-etnogr\u00e1fico, donde analiza el devenir de aquellos aspectos cotidianos emocionales que marcan se\u00f1ales, claves y signos de su historia personal.\n<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c1bc612 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"c1bc612\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">En la est\u00e9tica de su pintura gravitan personajes interesantes, se constelan la memoria, la imaginaci\u00f3n, la fantas\u00eda, los recuerdos, y fragmentos o trozos de vida, todos estos elementos se tejen o se imbrican en sus obras. Entre las referencias a experiencias vitales, emergen im\u00e1genes especulares del amor y el desamor, o un desaire amoroso. De igual manera, se manifiestan sus v\u00ednculos con sus seres queridos, los momentos coyunturales de su acontecer, uniones, fricciones, fracturas, conflictos, tensiones, el drama barroco de la vida desde los efectos de lo figurativo, hacia las pulsiones de lo abstracto.\n<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-05ff9cf elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"05ff9cf\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">En su obra vemos una apuesta por la figuraci\u00f3n en el contexto expresivo de atm\u00f3sferas et\u00e9reas de naturaleza inmaterial en unos casos, arquitect\u00f3nica en otros. Es un retorno interesante a la pintura con acentos y elementos de lo abstracto, pero sin abandonar la contundencia estructural del dibujo, la importancia que algunas de estas circunstancias pueden tener para su sensibilidad traducida en una iconograf\u00eda muy sensata; en la cual, el artista proyecta una reflexi\u00f3n po\u00e9tica.<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c49e147 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"c49e147\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">La manera como Tom\u00e1s indaga y ahonda en la naturaleza de sus emociones, en su \u00e1mbito cotidiano, nos permite reflexionar en las pasiones como expresiones del pensar o del sentir, que son atributos del alma. Todo esto suscita en el artista la creaci\u00f3n de una obra tambi\u00e9n expresiva en relaci\u00f3n con la manera como analiza o resignifica la importancia espiritual y emocional de eventos salpicados de afectos y emociones que trastocan y subvierten su cotidianidad. En sus pinturas pasa algo similar con el color y con la arquitectura, ya que \u00e9stos dos elementos compositivos se vuelven tambi\u00e9n personajes. El valor sem\u00e1ntico del color indica que \u00e9ste se convierte en un personaje, un personaje que devela y oculta, por ello su carga simb\u00f3lica tambi\u00e9n en el color, que se traduce po\u00e9ticamente en temperaturas, matices, que corresponden al estado del alma.<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d70110b elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"d70110b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">La intensidad de las pasiones en las relaciones amorosas, afectivas, interpersonales, son materia prima para consolidar su iconograf\u00eda en la cual Tom\u00e1s decanta y depura esas emociones de manera auto-reflexiva, y evidencia la forma como elucubra acerca de s\u00ed mismo, desde su interior lleno de fantasmas, lleno de luces y sombras, en un juego constante con la vida, con las circunstancias y con el azar.\n<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-781a5f3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"781a5f3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Las pulsiones de vida y muerte, de eros y t\u00e1natos son tambi\u00e9n cualidades latentes de su ejercicio pict\u00f3rico en el cual Tom\u00e1s trata de ser muy libre y de utilizar una serie de s\u00edmbolos encriptados que sugieren reflexiones, sentimientos y expresiones. Estos objetos de deseo se reproducen en su pintura, en medio de un juego sem\u00e1ntico de tragedia e iron\u00eda. La literatura, su cultura visual, su imaginaci\u00f3n y la mirada interior son ingredientes para sus exploraciones pict\u00f3ricas. La pintura permite al artista, en este caso, hacer una radiograf\u00eda de sus pasiones, 2 ideas y emociones, de hecho, les confiere un rostro y una imagen a esas pasiones que se camuflan en multiformes personajes.\n<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-933913e elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"933913e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Los movimientos interiores, o el sufrimiento moral son desencadenantes de fuerzas emotivas, que permean el lenguaje pict\u00f3rico de muchos artistas. Las pasiones humanas tambi\u00e9n hacen parte de la esencia de los artistas; y \u00e9stas se reflejan o se expresan en la manifestaci\u00f3n de alegr\u00eda, tristeza, melancol\u00eda, amor y odio, creaci\u00f3n y destrucci\u00f3n (atributos, sentimientos y emociones, que constituyen el valor expresivo de muchas obras de arte a trav\u00e9s de la historia de la humanidad; esto les puede aportar, precisamente, una serie de valores o de cargas po\u00e9ticas, ontol\u00f3gicas, espirituales y trascendentes).\n<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4e2f93c elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"4e2f93c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Son tambi\u00e9n elementos destacables en la obra de Tom\u00e1s Salazar el uso audaz de las veladuras, la meditaci\u00f3n con la arquitectura como un componente que vertebra espacios y dimensiones cargados de emotividad y mensajes simb\u00f3licos. \u00c9stos devienen simbolog\u00edas asociadas con la guerra, el juego, el azar y l\u00f3gicamente el amor, el aniquilamiento o la desolaci\u00f3n. El amor se vuelve un campo de guerras y batallas, de triunfos, victorias y derrotas (o aparentes derrotas). Enormes figuras de ajedrez, tableros del mismo juego, que fungen como terrenos, parcelas, o territorios, entre escalas, pedestales, o entre columnas de palacios y espacios m\u00e1gicos son testigos de eventos, y fen\u00f3menos misteriosos, sugeridos, ya que estos se convierten en conflictos no resueltos totalmente frente a nuestros ojos.\n<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5ac0c92 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"5ac0c92\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">La estructura compositiva a menudo, en sus obras, nos configura una arqueolog\u00eda de la memoria, cifrada por tonos rojos, azules, violetas, negros, blancos. Una paleta de color que aporta otras temperaturas al espacio, y que suma tensiones a las acciones f\u00edsicas que se desenvuelven frente a nuestros ojos. Lo animal nos remite al instinto, los edificios y su materialidad a la raz\u00f3n humana. La arquitectura puede ser p\u00e9trea y s\u00f3lida, como tambi\u00e9n metaf\u00edsica, cristalina, iridiscente, transparente, di\u00e1fana, et\u00e9rea (inmaterial); y esa misma arquitectura deja entrever u ocultar o sugerir, muchos peque\u00f1os eventos y seres diversos dentro del cuadro.\n<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5d816e2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"5d816e2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">El pintor nos representa arcos de medio punto, columnas, la simultaneidad de elementos rom\u00e1nicos y g\u00f3ticos para una expresi\u00f3n ecl\u00e9ctica de las formas. Esta es la arquitectura simb\u00f3lica e imaginaria, de sus propias emociones. Edificios y ruinas de un castillo interior. L\u00edneas angulosas, horizontales, verticales, diagonales, suman misticismo al trabajo. Las pasiones mismas quedan delimitadas por esta arquitectura fant\u00e1stica, por los territorios de la imaginaci\u00f3n.\n<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4197246 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"4197246\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Animales alados (celestes), y terrenales, personas, calaveras, la muerte, caballeros medievales con armaduras, espadas, reyes y reinas, configuran un abecedario visual, un imaginario propio de la iconograf\u00eda de Tom\u00e1s, donde pululan personajes misteriosos evidentes y ocultos, seres m\u00edticos. Un repertorio iconogr\u00e1fico que muestra impresiones vitales del pintor, mitolog\u00edas personales. Se muestra adem\u00e1s el recurso a la alegor\u00eda y al 3 s\u00edmbolo, a la met\u00e1fora y la metonimia, muchos de estos elementos giran en torno a la lucha entre el bien y el mal, la catarsis y catalizadores de las emociones, y las pasiones intensas, el dolor de su interior trastocado y subvertido por la vida.\n<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1306a80 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"1306a80\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">El di\u00e1logo entre veladuras pl\u00e1sticas de la t\u00e9cnica pict\u00f3rica, se armoniza a partir de un collage de recuerdos, de memoria, de espacios inter-dimensionales que se debaten entre la angustia, y la calma, entre el placer y el paroxismo, entre la catarsis o el \u00e9xtasis, y la contemplaci\u00f3n serena y silenciosa. A pesar de lo silencioso y aparentemente sosegado de algunas escenas representadas, y de que hay una referencia espacio-temporal en algunos de los escenarios plasmados por Tom\u00e1s; tambi\u00e9n podemos meditar a partir de la observaci\u00f3n de escenas dram\u00e1ticas, o frente a situaciones atemporales. Es decir, tambi\u00e9n hay algo ritual, algo enigm\u00e1tico que nos invita a confrontar nuestro propio mundo interior.\n<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d976f7c elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"d976f7c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Desde el amor, y desde el dolor, desde la paz y la guerra, desde la vida y la muerte, la angustia y la serenidad, la impotencia y la resiliencia (como el ave F\u00e9nix, que renace de sus propias cenizas), la narrativa de su obra tiene un componente ir\u00f3nico, un juego de planos en el espacio, donde pareciera que se mezclan el sue\u00f1o y la vigilia, donde se expanden las emociones m\u00e1s \u00edntimas del pintor en un escenario existencialista, emociones sugeridas u ocultas tambi\u00e9n bajo capas de significado.\n<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-281519c elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"281519c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Es un pintor que no se agotar\u00e1 en especulaciones y reflexiones, sino en la b\u00fasqueda de la esencia del oficio pict\u00f3rico, en la identidad del creador absorto frente a la experiencia de la vida, asombrado ante las expresiones de la naturaleza humana. Many of his images project a self-referential gesture, in a way auto-ethnographic, where he analyzes the evolution of those emotional everyday aspects that mark signs, clues, and symbols of his personal history. In the aesthetics of his painting, interesting characters gravitate; memory, imagination, fantasy, memories, and fragments or pieces of life are constellated and interwoven in his works. Among the references to vital experiences, mirror images of love and heartbreak, or a romantic slight, emerge. Similarly, his connections with his loved ones, the pivotal moments of his life, unions, frictions, fractures, conflicts, tensions, and the baroque drama of life manifest themselves, from the effects of the figurative to the pulses of the abstract. In his work, we see a commitment to figuration in the expressive context of ethereal atmospheres of immaterial nature in some cases, architectural in others. It is an interesting return to painting with accents and elements of the abstract, but without abandoning the structural force of drawing, the importance that some of these circumstances may have for his sensitivity translated into a very sensible iconography; in which the artist projects a poetic reflection. The way Tom\u00e1s delves into and explores the nature of his emotions, in his everyday realm, allows us to reflect on passions as expressions of thought or feeling, which are attributes of the soul. All this prompts the artist to create an expressive work related to how he analyzes or re-signifies the spiritual and emotional importance of events splattered with affections and emotions that disrupt and subvert his daily life. In his paintings, something similar happens with color and architecture, as these two compositional elements also become characters. The semantic value of color indicates that it becomes a character, a character that reveals and hides, hence its symbolic load also in color, which is poetically translated into temperatures and shades that correspond to the state of the soul. The intensity of passions in romantic, affective, interpersonal relationships is raw material to consolidate his iconography in which Tom\u00e1s decants and refines these emotions in a self-reflective way and evidences how he ponders about himself, from his interior full of ghosts, full of lights and shadows, in a constant play with life, circumstances, and chance. The drives of life and death, of Eros and Thanatos, are also latent qualities of his pictorial exercise in which Tom\u00e1s tries to be very free and uses a series of encrypted symbols that suggest reflections, feelings, and expressions. These objects of desire are reproduced in his painting amid a semantic play of tragedy and irony. Literature, his visual culture, his imagination, and his inner gaze are ingredients for his pictorial explorations. Painting allows the artist, in this case, to create an x-ray of his passions, ideas, and emotions, indeed giving them a face and an image to those passions that camouflage themselves in multiform characters. The inner movements or moral suffering are triggers of emotional forces that permeate the pictorial language of many artists. Human passions are also part of the essence of artists; and these are reflected or expressed in manifestations of joy, sadness, melancholy, love, and hate, creation and destruction (attributes, feelings, and emotions that constitute the expressive value of many works of art throughout the history of humanity; this can precisely provide them with a series of poetic, ontological, spiritual, and transcendent values or burdens). Notable elements in Tom\u00e1s Salazar&#8217;s work also include the bold use of glazes, meditation with architecture as a component that structures spaces and dimensions laden with emotion and symbolic messages. These become symbols associated with war, play, chance, and logically love, annihilation, or desolation. Love becomes a battlefield of wars and battles, triumphs, victories, and defeats (or apparent defeats). Enormous chess pieces, chessboards that function as terrains, plots, or territories, among scales, pedestals, or between columns of palaces and magical spaces are witnesses to events and mysterious phenomena, suggested, as these become unresolved conflicts entirely before our eyes. The compositional structure often, in his works, configures an archaeology of memory, encrypted by red, blue, violet, black, white tones. A color palette that brings other temperatures to the space and adds tensions to the physical actions unfolding before our eyes. Spaces, characters, forms, and colors generate a compositional and performative dramaturgy. The geometric and rational aspects of the represented architectural constructions (columns, arches, pyramids) contrast with the intuitive and subjective nature of the color and other sometimes sinuous forms that populate his work. The animal refers us to instinct, the buildings and their materiality to human reason. Architecture can be stony and solid, as well as metaphysical, crystalline, iridescent, transparent, diaphanous (immaterial); and that same architecture reveals or suggests, many small events and diverse beings within the painting. The painter represents half-point arches, columns, the simultaneity of Romanesque and Gothic elements for an eclectic expression of forms. This is the symbolic and imaginary architecture of his own emotions. Buildings and ruins of an inner castle. Angular, horizontal, vertical, diagonal lines add mysticism to the work. The passions themselves are delineated by this fantastic architecture, by the territories of imagination. Winged animals (celestial) and terrestrial, people, skulls, death, medieval knights with armor, swords, kings and queens, configure a visual alphabet, an imaginary proper to Tom\u00e1s&#8217; iconography, where mysterious characters abound, evident and hidden, mythical beings. An iconographic repertoire that shows vital impressions of the painter, personal mythologies. There is also the recourse to allegory and symbolism, metaphor and metonymy; many of these elements revolve around the struggle between good and evil, catharsis and catalysts of emotions, and intense passions, the pain of his interior disrupted and subverted by life.
