Hab\u00eda una madurez antigua en sus gestos, un talento tan cristalino e incuestionable que resultaba casi incre\u00edble para su corta edad. All\u00ed comprend\u00ed que no estaba ante un simple ejecutor, sino ante un alma guiada por una urgencia creativa aut\u00e9ntica, pura, sin contaminar.\u00a0<\/p><p>Hoy, verlo debutar en la escultura es la confirmaci\u00f3n de aquel presentimiento. Es la evoluci\u00f3n natural de un artista que no sabe ni quiere quedarse en la superficie del mundo, sino que necesita excavar, enfrentarse a la materia profunda.\u00a0<\/p><p>Tomas no modela la forma: la corteja, la desaf\u00eda y, finalmente, la escucha.\u00a0<\/p><p>Su viaje comienza con una chapa plana, r\u00edgida, fr\u00eda, cargada de una tensi\u00f3n interna y una resistencia que parece rechazar la intrusi\u00f3n humana. Comienza as\u00ed un ritual de gestos f\u00edsicos y precisos: plegar, soldar, cortar, marcar, limar, pulir. Pero aqu\u00ed no hay la pretensi\u00f3n de un control absoluto. Tomas no impone su voluntad sobre el hierro como lo har\u00eda un alfarero con el barro o un escultor que sustrae la piedra. Lo suyo es, m\u00e1s bien, un control del tiempo. It was then that I understood I wasn&#8217;t in the presence of a mere executor, but rather a soul guided by an authentic, pure, uncontaminated creative urgency.\u00a0 Today, seeing him debut in sculpture confirms that feeling. It&#8217;s the natural evolution of an artist who neither knows how nor wants to remain on the surface of the world, but needs to excavate, to confront the depths of matter.\u00a0 Tomas doesn&#8217;t mold form: he courts it, challenges it, and ultimately, listens to it.\u00a0 His journey begins with a flat, rigid, cold sheet of metal, charged with an internal tension and a resistance that seems to reject human intrusion. Thus begins a ritual of precise physical gestures: folding, welding, cutting, marking, filing, polishing. But there is no pretense of absolute control here. Tomas doesn&#8217;t impose his will on the iron as a potter would on clay or a sculptor extracting stone. His is, rather, a control of time.
